Had an early morning / late night yesterday, traveling between Brookhaven and Baldwin, L.I. to shoot the final pieces for Downwind Magazine's inaugural issue. Spent the better half of my evening editing the 30-something images being used for the magazine - including the cover photo (followed by a much needed celebratory steak dinner). Theo, Downwind's art director, has done a fantastic job with the layout, and putting the issue together - it's going to be sent to print today, and we're all VERY excited to see the final product. Stay tuned...
Here are a few images from The Pilot Shop, in Baldwin, NY - one of the largest aviation retailers on the East Coast. Mike (the younger guy), is a friend/supporter of Downwind, and will be using these as advertisements in the publication.
